On-the-job-training

Submit applications from June 2 to September 17

The subsidy is an allowance for an employer in the costs he incurs for the supervision of a pupil, participant or student. The subsidy is also a contribution towards the salary or supervision costs of a PhD student or technological designer in training. All timely submitted applications will be processed!

  • Subsidy: a fixed amount of €2.700 per realized practical or work placement

ESF Sustainable Employability

Submit requests from June 25 to June 29

The European Social Fund (ESF) encourages the sustainable employability of your employees through this subsidy. You will receive the subsidy for seeking external advice on the promotion of one of the following themes: the health and safety of employees, the learning culture, internal mobility, and a flexible work culture.

  • Subsidy: €12.500 per project

Partners for Water – WWSD

Submit an application from July 2 – September 7 2018

Partners for Water aims to improve water safety and water security in urban deltas through the use of innovation and innovative Dutch knowledge. The scheme stimulates partnerships between Dutch and local consortium parties. Subsidy can be applied for pilot projects and feasibility studies abroad.

DHI

Submitting applications from August 9 – September 21 2018

DHI is a subsidy for Dutch SMEs with international projects. The subsidy is therefore available for every country in the world, excluding the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the sanctioned countries. The DHI subsidy scheme applies to different types of export projects: feasibility, demonstration and investments.

  • Subsidy: up to €200.000 per project, up to€100.000 per study

WBSO

Deadline: August 31 2018

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Promotion (FBS) encourages entrepreneurs to invest more in research through the Dutch Tax Promotion Act for Research and Development (WBSO). With this regulation, the R & D costs and expenses are reduced by a discount on the payroll tax. Approximately 25,000 companies apply for this subsidy!

  • Subsidy: €1.168 million budget for 2018

SME Instrument – Horizon 2020

Deadline: September 5 2018

One part of Horizon 2020 is the SME Instrument, aimed at supporting pioneering innovation projects of European SMEs. The SME Instrument consists of financing and innovation support throughout the development cycle, and was created to give the most innovative and eye-catching developers a boost.

  • Subsidy: €2.500.000 per innovation project, €50.000 per feasibility study

MIT R&D

Deadline: september 2018 6

The R & D cooperation project is an instrument of the MIT scheme and focuses on partnerships between at least 2 SME entrepreneurs. The innovative project they set up must connect with one or more of the nine Top Sectors of the Netherlands.

  • Subsidy: up to €350.000 per project

Stimulation Sustainable Energy Production (SDE +)

Deadline: Autumn 2018 (exact dates not yet known)

The SDE + subsidy stimulates the production of sustainable energy and focuses on companies and (non-profit) institutions. Renewable energy is generated from clean, inexhaustible sources and is therefore also called ‘renewable energy’. This subsidy can be applied for the production of renewable energy via the following methods: biomass, geothermics, water, wind and sun.

  • Subsidy: €6 billion budget for this round
    • The subsidy amount accrues per kWh generated
